How much does it cost?

That's up to you! Choose from a list of Available Items to sponsor, ranging from a Sponsor Cost of $40 to $300 or more. You can easily get started as a Sponsor on a low-cost Sponsorship to test the results, and then sponsor more valuable items in the future. Items with higher values (and Sponsor Costs) get more attention and will most likely result in more Page Views and Clicks on your ads.

As soon as you select an item and pay for the sponsorship, the item will go live on Snagoo with 30 days remaining. You can start new items on Snagoo any time you want!

As a Sponsor, you'll get:

• Your Sponsor Block (explicit sponsorship statement and 728x90 Banner Ad) at the top of the page
• Rotation in the Footer of all Snagoo's pages as one of our Sponsors (Rotated randomly between all Sponsors - 2 Sponsors on the page per pageview)
• If your item costs more than $100, you'll get an Additional Information block below the Product Image and above the Product Description

Sponsor Information and Terms of Use

Signing up for a Sponsor Account and sponsoring an auction indicates you accept, understand and agree to the terms and conditions as displayed below. Snagoo reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time, at its own discretion without any prior notice. Snagoo will do its best to notify users of any changes to the terms and conditions, however Sponsors of auctions on Snagoo should check the terms and conditions regularly in order to keep up-to-date with any changes. All changes will be published in this section of the website. If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions as set out below, you should discontinue use of the service.

The Service

Snagoo's Lowest Unique Bid Auction is a reverse auction service where it is the lowest unique bid that wins. The lowest unique bid is defined as the lowest bid amount in a particular auction where only one bidder has bid that amount. Each auction is time-based, with a clock available on the auction page that displays the time remaining before the close of the auction. The winning bidder is the bidder that holds the lowest unique bid at the close of the auction. If there is no lowest unique bid at the close of an auction, the winner will be determined by the lowest bid amount with only two bids and the member that placed the bid first, and so on, until a winner is discovered. All Lowest Unique Bid Auctions, therefore, will have a winner at the close of the auction.

Sponsoring an Auction

Sponsors have the opportunity to pay for an auction for any of the products listed in the Available Sponsorships section. By paying the shown price, the Sponsor will have a banner ad placed at the top of the auction page for that item. In addition, a short text ad will be displayed in the Footer section of Snagoo on a random basis. The Footer Ads are chosen at random from all current Sponsors, and two of the Sponsor Footer Ads are displayed on each page. The Sponsor may also have additional image and text advertising displayed depending on the purchase price of the sponsorship.

Upon payment for Sponsorship of an auction, the auction is started immediately and lasts for 30 days. During the 30 days, all applicable ads from the Sponsor will be displayed as described. The Sponsor ads are only displayed during the 30 days the auction is running. Completed auctions do not display Sponsor ads.

Payment and Refunds

Payment for a Sponsorship will be made on PayPal by the Sponsor. Auctions start immediately, will not be cancelled, and Sponsorships are non-refundable.

No Guarantees

Snagoo does not represent or guarantee any specific number of page views or clicks on Sponsor ads. Page views and clicks are tracked on a simple basis - no distinction is made for Unique or Non-Unique page views and clicks. Sponsors can use separate URLs for different Sponsorships in order to implement more advanced tracking on the destination websites at their own expense and by their own implementation.

Privacy

Snagoo will not willfully share any information about any user with any third party, except where previously noted such as the display of Usernames, etc in the context of the auctions. Snagoo does not sell, rent, or otherwise intentionally disseminate any information about any user to any third party. However, in the event that a third party obtains any information about a Snagoo user without explicit permission from Snagoo or the user, Snagoo will not be held liable. Snagoo will take reasonable precautions in protecting the user's identity and information, such as requiring usernames and passwords to access the site, but assumes no blame in the event a user's information is accessed in a manner not intended by Snagoo.
