Bids are FREE on Snagoo! You don't have to buy bids. In fact, you CAN'T buy bids. Everyone receives 5 Bids each day, or 15 Bids each day if they become
Premium Members (you can become a Premium Member for free too).
No! When you win any auction on Snagoo, the shipping is included free!
There are two main reasons for this. One is that by limiting the number of bids each user can place, the strategic aspect of the game is preserved. If everyone could bid as many times as they wished, there would be thousands of bids in each auction, the price would go very high, and the winner would win mostly due to luck. By keeping a limit on the Available Bids each day, a bidder must be strategic in order to win and the final winning bid will provide an excellent deal for the winner. The second reason is that Snagoo operates solely based on the income generated from the advertising on this site. We do not make money on the auctions themselves. Therefore, we need to incentivize the return visits to Snagoo, and this is done by limiting the bids each day.
Beyond becoming a Premium Member (which gives you up to an extra 325 bids per month) there are two ways to get more bids. One is by logging in and using your bids on consecutive days, which will let you earn BidBursts. The other is by referring your friends! Learn more about both of these opportunities on your

There really is no catch! Basic Members get 5 Free Bids each day, and Premium Members get 15 Free Bids each day. You do NOT have to become a Premium Member to play - in fact, Snagoo's new business model is based on the advertising revenue generated from the few banner ads on this site, and the fact that all our happy members will continue returning to Snagoo. This way our customers get great deals and opportunities without having to buy bids, and Snagoo continues to offer great auctions that are paid for by the advertising on the site. Truly a winning situation for everyone! To become a Premium Member, you just have to choose any offer from TrialPay (more than 50 to choose from) from well-known brands like NetFlix, People Magazine, Blockbuster, The Gap - many of the offers are actually free trials anyway!
We offer a full refund of the purchase price for items that you win in auctions, all you have to pay is the return shipping costs. Since there are no other costs to play on Snagoo, there are no other refunds needed!
Congratulations! Make sure you're logged into your account, and go to your "My Snagoo" page. Click on the "Auctions" tab and then select the auction that you just won. This will take you to the auction page, and there will be a link on that page that takes you to PayPal to pay for your item.
We process your order within 3 days of your purchase. We work with several sources to order and ship the products you win (Drop Shipping companies, Amazon, Other Resellers), so the actual time before your item arrives can vary. Usually it takes less than 2 weeks, and if it takes longer than 3 weeks to receive your item, you should contact us so we can resolve any issues holding it up.
About Lowest Unique Bid Auctions

How It Works section for full details, but in general: the Lowest Unique Bid Auction will be won by the person who places the lowest Bid Amount that no one else places. You can place as many bids as you want, and you will not pay for the price of the item or the Bid Amount unless you win. At the end of the Auction, whoever has placed the lowest Bid Amount that is Unique (no one else has bid the same amount) wins the item for that price - shipping is already included!
Each time you place a bid, it will appear in a list of all of your bids in that auction. Each entry is color-coded with a short description letting you know if the bid is Unique, Lowest Unique, or Not Unique. Using your past bids to see what bids are unique and whether or not they are the lowest will help you strategize!
The winner is immediately decided based on all the bids that have been placed. The winner will get a notification on the same page the Auction was running on letting him or her know they won! Also, there will be a display of the the Bid Amounts before and after the Winning Bid Amount to show how many bids were placed that were near the winning bid.
The Reserve is GONE! All auctions have no reserve, so bid while it's available!
No. Snagoo's Lowest Unique Bid auctions are not lotteries or raffles. In a lottery, a random number is picked and declared the winner, whether or not anyone has chosen that number as their game piece. In a "raffle", there will always be a winner because the winning number is chosen from a set group of options based on the people/game pieces participating in the raffle, but there is no strategy involved by the participants in determining the winner.
With a Lowest Unique Bid auction that is operated the way Snagoo's auctions are, there is definitely strategy involved in determining the winner. The notifications you receive about each bid you have placed gives you information that can be used to strategically place bids. If a player decided to pick 5 bid amounts completely at random, they would be less likely to win the auction than someone who carefully placed bids according to the information they receive about each of their previous bids.
